Survival Strategy: Overcoming Tech Glitches and Applying for AdSense Re-Review
Today was a major turning point for this blog. I realized that simply writing a diary isn't enough to build a professional platform; I needed to align my site with global standards and Google AdSense requirements.
1. Building the Foundation (Compliance) To show Google that this site is a reliable source of information, I finally set up the essential pages:
Privacy Policy: To protect reader data.
About Me: To share my "why" and my journey from Japan to LA.
Contact Form: To ensure I am reachable.
2. Fighting the Layout Glitches It wasn't easy. While adding the Contact Form, my entire layout broke. My menu items like "Privacy Policy" disappeared, and for a moment, I felt like giving up. But I learned that building a business—even a blog—is about troubleshooting. By rearranging the gadgets in my Blogger layout, I managed to get a clean, professional look.
3. SEO-Optimizing My Narrative I also started renaming my previous posts. Instead of just "My Day," I am now framing my life through the lens of a "Survival Strategy." Whether it's inflation in Los Angeles or managing chronic pain, every struggle is a lesson that can help someone else.
4. The Re-Review Request As of 5:07 PM today, I officially clicked the "Request Review" button on Google AdSense. My balance has been $3.80 for a decade. Today, I took the first real step toward changing that number.
The road to $100 is still long, but the foundation is now solid. I am a survivor, and this blog is my strategy.
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read through my story and strategies today. I am truly grateful for your attention and support as I navigate this journey toward my goals. Every minute of your time spent here is deeply appreciated, and I look forward to sharing more of this reality with you soon.
